To celebrate the achievements of our paediatric patients/ students, Indus Kay Sitaray (IKS) held its second graduation ceremony on April 26, 2019. IKS is a hospital-based school at The Indus Hospital (TIH). After completing the second educational term, 15 students from Prep-1 and Prep-2 classes, received their certificates from Dr Shamvil Ashraf, Executive Director, Medical Services, Indus Health Network (IHN) and Ms Nudrat Imam, Principal, Shahwilayat Public School.
Hospital collaborated with Department of Emergency Medicine at The Indus Hospital to conduct a 12-month competency-based Certificate Program in Emergency Medicine (CPEM). The programme aims to train medical officers and residents to better manage the initial triage and stabilization of patients with varying medical, surgical and traumatic conditions.
The University of Manitoba has selected Pakistan’s Indus Hospital for Clinical Trials. An agreement to this effect was signed between the University of Manitoba and The Indus Hospital (TIH), Pakistan this week. Collaboration between Pakistani and Canadian institutions in this regard will further strengthen clinical trial facilities in Pakistan. Later, focus can be shifted to joint research on the causes and treatment of diseases like hepatitis, diabetes and cancer. A team of researchers from the University of Manitoba will be visiting Pakistan shortly.

The Indus Hospital (TIH) has installed a new and most modern Total Lab Automation (TLA) system supplied by Abbott Diagnostics in the Korangi Campus. This state-of-the-art system has been installed with the support of Martin Dow Group which helped Indus Health Network (IHN) in building the laboratory and associated facilities.
